Greenbury Shields Templeton - Probate Documents

Greenbury (Sometimes spelled Greenberry) S. Templeton was the son of John Perkins Templeton the son of Robert Templeton originally of Iredell County in North Carolina. Greenbury was the father of Julia Aletha 'Letha' Templeton who married Frank Hamilton (son of Supplina Hamilton). He was also the father of Laura Annettie ('Nettie') Templeton who was the wife of Frank's brother, Judd Hamilton. This document is Greenbury's probate papers. He died without a will and the distribution of his estate in Wallowa (near Enterprise) Oregon was tied up for several years. The estate was not finally settled until after his third wife Lizzie Templeton (formerly Leonard) had passed away.
