A copy of the original pencil letter written by Effie Darland about her growing up years. Effie was a daughter of Supplina & Jane (Sumpter) Hamilton, born June 15, 1875. She wrote this memoir on June 16, 1946, just after her 71st birthday. Irene (Adamson) Pease of Clarkston, WA has the original and inked over the pencil to make it more legible for this copy -- previously only transcriptions of this memoir were available.
